Tribute paid to motorcyclist killed in Sherfield English collision

The family of a motorcyclist who died in a collision in Sherfield English have released a tribute.

22-year old Roy Baker from West Dean was killed when his black Honda motorbike was involved in a collision with a beige-coloured Mini.

Both vehicles were travelling on the A27 Salisbury Road in the direction of Whiteparish when the collision took place at around 3.15pm on Sunday 7 April 2019.

Roy’s family released the following tribute:

“Our Roy Boy – the most kind-hearted, loved, amazing son, brother and best uncle in the world to his nephew and niece.

“We couldn’t be prouder to have a son and a brother like our Roy Boy. He loved life, he loved his family, and he loved horses and his side-kick dog Lewis.

“Our biggest ray of sunshine in our lives – gone, but it’s not goodbye, Our Boy, it’s see you later Xx

“Roy’s family would like to thank everybody that stopped and helped Roy, it means a lot.”

Police would still like to hear from any witnesses, in particular a vehicle that slowed down at the scene to drive around the collision site before continuing on towards Romsey.
