The Andover Waitrose store has long been part of the local community and has shown this through their continual donations to various local good causes.
Their Community Matters scheme is a chance for customers to donate to the cause of their choice.
They present three options to their customers each month. At the end of each month, the causes get a share of a £1000 donation from the store.
Good causes can be nominated by picking up a form from the collection box, completing it, and returning to the Welcome Desk in store.
For June’s collection, Andover Armed Forces Day run by Love Andover and Andover Radio, was privileged enough to be chosen as one of their good causes. Raising a fantastic £507.00.
Not only do they donate money, but you can also apply for their Partner Volunteers scheme.
Whereby Waitrose partners could be used to assist your cause/organisation with skills you may not necessarily have available.
More information on Community Matters scheme is available here or speak to the lovely Annwen Walker in their Chantry Centre store.
