The pedestrian and cycle stick people footbridge over the A3093, linking Picket Twenty and the rest of Andover, is due to be completed by the end of August 2013.
The structure of the bridge is expected to be lifted into place this evening (26 July) as the concrete supports on either side have now been installed. The artwork to be fixed to either side of the bridge will follow in the coming weeks.
The new bridge provides an alternative route to access to the town centre and gives access to Ladies Walk, Micheldever Road and areas to the south of Andover.
