Shop Local: Salon73

The words shop local are more than important in these testing times for local businesses. With the CONVID-19 lock down extended for another 3 weeks, many businesses who have not shut are having to adapt how they operate in the conditions that they are all abiding by.

Andover has a brilliant array of local businesses, and many have adapted to continue operating to provide their products and services to customers.

Here at Andover Radio and Love Andover we are passionate about our town and the many businesses, which is why on April 1st we showed our support to these businesses and announced that we would not be billing our current clients and offering FREE (Not discounted or special price) advertising on Andover Radio with online advertising too.

Every day we will highlight one business a day as part of our free advertising campaign in support for our local business community.

Today we focus on Salon73:

With over 20 years experience working in top salons across the UK, Vanessa Cleary, opened Salon 73 in May 2013 at Basepoint business centre. The salon has gone from strength to strength over the years with the salon a popular place for all the family, with a large customer base the salon expanded taking another unit next door creating a larger premises, with a larger team including beauty therapists.

The salons quality has been recognised with the salon picking up awards along the way. In 2018 and 2019 the salon won the Muddy Stiletto award for best salon in Hampshire and Isle Of Wight.

With the current lock down in effect the salon is currently closed but Vanessa has stayed in touch with her clients through Facebook and over the telephone. From rescheduling appointments to giving advice on hair care. Every Saturday at 10 am, Vanessa hosts a Facebook live where she keeps in touch with her clients, answering questions and giving valuable tips.

Vanessa recently has been developing a Salon 73 branded product hair care range which will soon be available.
