A van driver has died after a road accident in Grateley near Andover yesterday at the junction of Grateley Drove and Cholderton Road.
The accident happened at around 2.00pm yesterday (Saturday 31st August) between a white Mercedes Sprinter van and a Mercedes car. The van driver – a 22 year old man – was taken to Salisbury hospital but sadly died later. The driver of the car, a 44-year-old woman, suffered minor injuries.
Road traffic officers from Whitchurch police station are investigating the crash and have asked anyone with information if they can contact PS Lyndon Barrett on 101.
