I was born high in the mountains.
Hurrying, crashing down.
Trying to follow my friends,
To reach my destination.
Trees were my guardians, protecting me.
Like an Olympic diver,
Like a monster swallowing his victims.
Gently flowing in a straight line,
Dolphins jumping in and out of the water.
Having fun, life was good.
Like a snake I was swerving left and right,
Making me feel dizzy.
I was hungry.
Then you fed my your poisons and now I’m it!
People you are monsters,
You are feeding my friends the same poisons.
My friends are fading away.
The bottom of me
Is just litter and rubbish.
Who will help me?
