Police investigating a series of overnight incidents

Police are investigating following reports of a number of incidents in Andover on the night of Tuesday 8th May.

At 11:13pm they received a report that several people had been seen climbing on a conservatory roof in Topaz Drive then at 11:55pm, they received a report that a 22-year-old man had been assaulted by four people on push bikes in Junction Road.

At the same time, they received a report a stone had been thrown at a house in Charlton Road, cracking a window.

Just after midnight on Wednesday 9th May, Police received a report that the front side passenger window of a taxi parked in Poynters Close has been smashed.

Officers attended at the time and are treating these incidents as linked.

An 18-year-old man from Andover was arrested in connection with the investigation but he has since been released with no further action.
