Parents of students at John Hanson School are being asked to encourage their children to take part in their next big musical production.
Rehearsals are already underway for their production of the musical ‘Matilda’ based on the story by Roald Dahl. Music and lyrics are written by Tim Minchin (pictured).
All students are invited to attend if they wish to sing in the show – and the school is especially keen to involve their Year 7 students.
Rehearsals for the Choir are Wednesdays from 3.00pm – 4.00pm and Drama rehearsals are Thursdays from 3.00pm to 4.30pm.
The school which has launched an app to allow parents to keep up-to-date with school news says that it is important all members of the cast and choir attend rehearsals each week, as required.
The final performances will be on May 15th and May 16th at John Hanson Community School.
