Something for everyone at The Romsey Show!

On Saturday 8th September, The Romsey Show will be taking place at Broadlands in Romsey. The Show is one of the largest one-day country shows in the South. Run by a large team of dedicated volunteers, the show provides a fantastic day out with something for all the family to enjoy!

In the President’s Ring, cheer on the thrill-seeking Stunt Riders, watch an exciting demonstration from New Forest Polo and look to the sky for the magnificent Bremont Great War Display Team. Airborne Product Support Ltd are sponsoring this glorious display of World War aircraft. Attractions across the Showground include the popular Countryside Area with plenty of ‘have a go’ opportunities, livestock and equine classes, vintage machinery, live music and stunning floral displays. Have a go at fly fishing, hold a chick and bring your dog to take part in the family dog show.

The Show welcomes a wide range of local businesses and organisations, with shopping opportunities galore. The dedicated Food Zone, complete with bandstand and picnic area, offers a variety of food and drink from local producers using quality ingredients. The Food Zone is also home to the cooking demonstration theatre, featuring some of the region’s top chefs including Andy MacKenzie, Executive Chef of Lainston House Hotel and James Forman, Executive Chef for New Forest Hotels.

With free entry to the Show for children aged 11 years and under, there’s plenty of fun activities for all ages including butter and poppy making, the interactive Longdown Mobile Farm, Kids Kitchen, Twistopher and lots more!
