Sophia’s fundraiser for The Little Princess Trust

Local Andover school girl , Sophia, from Year 4 at Roman way School has taken on the challenge of raising money for The Little Princess Trust.

The Little Princess Trust was founded in memory of 5-year-old Hannah Tarplee and supplies the best real-hair wigs available, free of charge, to children and young people up to the age of 24, who have lost their hair through cancer treatment or other illnesses.

Sophia has decided to cut 13 inches off her hair to raise money for the little princess trust. Her aim is to hopefully raise £1100 which is the cost of two wigs.

Sophia’s Mum, Charlotte says, “I have to say I am super proud of Sophia for making this decision to raise money for an absolutely brilliant cause, she has grown her hair over the years specifically for this moment, myself, my husband and our families are extremely proud.”

Sophia has been growing her hair especially for this event which will raise money to give hope to children and young people by providing real hair wigs and funding vital research into childhood cancers.

Well done Sophia from all of us here at Love Andover
