The Countess of Brecknock Hospice (CoBH) received an incredible boost this week when Michele, the charity’s Director, was presented with a cheque for £12,750. The generous donation came from the Bob Tulloch Golf Day, a fundraising event organised by Gid Wells and Niki Powell. The impressive amount is a testament to the hard work and dedication of Gid, Niki, their sponsors, players, and supporters.
Michele expressed her overwhelming gratitude upon receiving the donation, noting the significant impact such contributions have on the hospice’s ability to continue providing vital care and support. “This is a phenomenal total, and we are immensely grateful to everyone involved,” Michele said.
Gid Wells and Niki Powell are longstanding friends of CoBH and have been instrumental in supporting the hospice through their golf tournament. Over the years, their efforts have raised a remarkable £43,298, demonstrating their ongoing commitment to the cause. In recognition of their continuous support, Michele presented Gid and Niki with silver CoBH badges as a small token of the hospice’s appreciation.
The Countess of Brecknock Hospice relies on the generosity of the community and dedicated individuals like Gid and Niki to maintain its services. Events such as the Bob Tulloch Golf Day play a crucial role in ensuring that the hospice can continue to provide compassionate care to those in need. The recent donation will go a long way in supporting the hospice’s mission and making a difference in the lives of its patients and their families.
