THAT’S the way to do it

Coronavirus Andover Bridge Street

The majority of people in Andover are being sensible and adhering to government advice.

Lesley-Ann Simmonds, owner of Photos2Print on Bridge Street posted a photo online of the scene outside her store. People were keeping their distance. Current government advice is that you must only leave home for one of four reasons.

If you have to leave your property, you must keep a distance of more than 2 metres from others.

Stricter measures were imposed by government as people ignored previous advice. The police has powers to disperse groups of more than two and impose fines.

The message remains the same today: Stay at home. Protect our NHS. Save Lives.

Lesley-Ann and her husband Mark at their Bridge Street store are offering a delivery service if people need laser or ink cartridges. They are also offering a print and deliver service.

People attending their store are served at an appropriate distance. Lesley-Ann said, “I have an 84 year mother at home, I must make sure we have all the right measures in place to protect her, and our two daughters”.

Their store remains open from 10.30am – 3.30pm Monday to Saturday where you will be served through the doorway.

For the past fortnight, the popular shop also has a stock of essential food items for those most in need.
