The 2018 Pride of Andover Awards has officially launched

Following the success of last year’s event, held at The Lights, Andover in October, the Pride of Andover Awards has now officially launched for 2018.

During an exclusive event, held at David Mellor Family Jewellers in the Chantry Centre, and later The Lights on 16th June, the Awards’ 9 sponsors came together to celebrate the 2018 awards; by networking, enjoying a light lunch, and discussing this year’s plans.

The Pride of Andover Awards 2018 has no less than 9 awards categories open for nominations, including the highly regarded Spirit of Andover Award made possible by the Awards’ Main Sponsor, David Mellor Family Jewellers.

Karen Hamilton, Chairman of the Pride of Andover Awards said of this year’s proceedings “We’re incredibly grateful to all of our sponsors for making the 2018 Pride of Andover Awards possible, and helping us celebrate our town’s unsung heroes. 2018 marks our 12th year, and we’re hoping for more nominations than ever before!

The nomination period for the Pride of Andover Awards begins on 1st July and ends on 31st August.

Those interested in nominating their colleagues, friends or family for an award are asked to do so by filling out the simple online form, available on the Pride of Andover Awards’ website from 1st July.

The Pride of Andover Awards exists to shed light on the town’s unsung heroes – endorsing the inspiring and often selfless actions of Andover’s most generous individuals; promoting a sense of pride in our unique north Hampshire town.
