The end of world war 2 is traditionally marked and recognised with the official surrender of Japan on 15th August. (VJ) day. To mark this special occasion, veterans, standard bearers and TVBC will be holding a low key, gathering at the guildhall at 11.00, Saturday 15th August to honour and remember all those who sacrificed the ultimate price for our freedom. TVBC will be lighting the Guildhall in red, white and blue and raising the union flag in respect.
