Archer Ritchie-Green, a budding hockey talent from Andover Hockey Club, had more proud moments to share this weekend. The young athlete, known for his passion and infectious smile, received a significant boost in his sporting journey with the support of The Jamie G Sporting Trust.
Trustee Ivan George Gentleman of The Jamie G Sporting Trust proudly presented a cheque of £671.24 to Archer, contributing towards his hockey kit. This gesture was warmly appreciated by Archer’s family, especially his stepmother, Roxanne Watts.
“We are extremely grateful and touched by the generosity of Jacqueline Gentleman and the wonderful team at The Jamie G Sporting Trust. Their support has provided Archer with the adult hockey goalkeeper kit he needs,” expressed Roxanne. “This has enabled him not only to play for Andover Hockey Club but also to participate in the Hampshire Performance Centre and recently attend trials for the England Talent Academy.”
Archer, who is looking forward to inspiring other young hockey players, hopes to give back by participating in Jamie G events. His family and the Andover Hockey Club community are thrilled about the opportunities this support has opened up for him.
