Parker Bullen Announces Four New Partner Appointments

Local law firm and Test Valley Business Awards sponsor Parker Bullen has expanded its Partnership with four key appointments, reflecting continued growth across the business.

As of 1st April, Sarah Dureau, Mark Barratt, and Mary Mowbray have stepped into new roles as Fixed Share Equity Partners, while Karen Clarkson has been appointed as a Salaried Partner.

Sarah Dureau, who launched the firm’s Witney office in 2022, has grown the team from two to seven in just two years, building a strong local presence and reputation for community involvement. Mark Barratt, based in the Romsey office, has also taken on the role of Head of Residential Property. Mary Mowbray, promoted from Senior Associate, is now Head of Commercial Property. Both have made a notable impact since joining the firm in 2023 and 2024.

Karen Clarkson, formerly the firm’s Marketing and Business Development Manager, has played a central role in Parker Bullen’s modernisation and growth. Her work has included leading the firm’s merger with Kirklands, launching a new website, and enhancing brand visibility across all six offices.

Managing Partner Gareth Horner said:

“Welcoming Sarah, Mark and Mary into the ownership of the business is a significant step forward for us as a firm, and we are fortunate to have them invest in our future. Karen has been heavily involved in the strategic direction of the firm since coming on board, so this next step is a natural progression for her.”

These Partner appointments come as part of a wider round of staff promotions across departments, supported by the firm’s Career Pathway programme launched last year.
