On Saturday, April 5th, Unity and Rooting for Andover collaborated to provide a “Plant to Plate” gardening session for Andover families at the beginning of the school Easter holidays.

Sarah Gisbourne, Unity’s Community development worker told us, “A lovely morning was spent in the sunshine with local families delivering Unitys Plant to plate project to families in Andover. Thank you to the Rooting for Andover team for sharing your gardening knowledge and skills with us.”
Michael Parker, Rooting for Andovers Chairman said, “Thank you everyone who came along to this event, we have lots more activities planned for the future , please follow our Facebook page for the latest events taking place at the community garden.”
Gardening is not only a rewarding hobby but also a great way to reduce your shopping bills and enjoy fresh, home-grown produce.
Being outside and engaging in gardening activities can significantly improve your mental and physical well-being. It provides a sense of accomplishment, reduces stress, and promotes a healthier lifestyle.
