The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance was seen over Andover at around 7.50 pm this evening (Wednesday 23 July), landing in Augusta Park near the local shops off East Anton Farm Road.

The helicopter remained at the scene as of 8.30 pm, with the crew responding to an ongoing incident. A member of the team confirmed they were attending an active call, though no further details have been released at this time.
Emergency services have not yet issued an official statement, and it is not known whether the incident involved a medical emergency, accident, or other cause.

HIOWAA issued the following statement:
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance confirmed that the air ambulance was dispatched at 19:25 to an incident in Andover on Wednesday 23 July. The Critical Care Team consisting of a doctor and a specialist paramedic provided treatment to a patient on scene before transporting them to hospital via road ambulance for further treatment.
