Police Investigate Parcel Thefts in Saxon Fields

Hampshire Police are investigating a series of parcel thefts in Saxon Fields after reports that multiple deliveries marked as “delivered” never reached their intended recipients.

The incidents are understood to have taken place over the weekend, when a contracted courier working for delivery firm Evri was covering a round. Residents began comparing notes on social media after one customer noticed inconsistencies between the delivery photographs provided by Evri and the actual locations of their homes.

Images supplied to customers showed parcels left in the same setting, regardless of address, prompting suspicions. Soon after, several others came forward claiming their own deliveries had gone missing in similar circumstances.

Police have confirmed they are treating the matter as a “sizeable theft” and are taking the investigation seriously. They believe they have identified a suspect.

The regular delivery driver for the area, who is not implicated in any way, has been praised by residents for his reliability.

Authorities are urging anyone in Saxon Fields who believes they may have been affected to contact Hampshire Police on 101. Providing information and evidence may help both with reimbursement claims and with securing an appropriate conviction.
