Compered by Tommy Gentleman and Hosted by Jordan Wylie MBE, the event recognised individuals and groups who go above and beyond for others, showing the compassion and community spirit that define the town.

Guests were welcomed by Clarissa Woodhouse from headline sponsor New Street Dental Care, who opened the ceremony with a heartfelt speech about kindness and the importance of community.

Her address was followed by a light-hearted moment when Clive Jackson, frontman of Doctor and the Medics, appeared in a surprise video message, playfully “gatecrashing” the event and drawing laughter from the audience.

Tommy and Jordan led the evening with their trademark warmth and energy, ensuring a seamless mix of humour and emotion throughout.

Among the highlights was a speech from the Mayor of Test Valley, who thanked both Tommy and Jordan for their energy and commitment before presenting his own award, paying tribute to the often-unseen dedication of those who make a difference in the community.

The Sue Shepherd Award drew one of the most emotional moments of the night, recognising the deep compassion and community care that Sue embodied.
