Businesses across Test Valley’s rural communities are being encouraged to put themselves forward for the Rural Business of the Year category at the Test Valley Business Awards 2026.

The award is sponsored by Parker Bullen LLP, which has offices in Andover, Romsey, Salisbury, Totton and Witney, and provides legal advice for individuals, families, businesses, the military and charities.
The awards recognise and celebrate the achievements of organisations operating across the borough, from independent start-ups to established employers. Founded in 2004, they have spent more than two decades championing local enterprise across Andover, Romsey and the surrounding villages.
The Rural Business of the Year Award aims to shine a light on businesses that play an important role in Test Valley’s villages and rural economy.
A spokesperson for Parker Bullen said: “We have proudly supported the Test Valley Business Awards for several years as they reflect the communities we work with every day. Rural businesses are fundamental to life in Test Valley, shaping how we live, work, and connect across our villages and towns. As a community focused firm, this is one of many local initiatives we are proud to be involved in. This year, we are delighted to sponsor the Rural Business of the Year Award, celebrating the resilience, adaptability, and commitment that these businesses demonstrate each and every day.”
Katie Brooks, Chairman of the Test Valley Business Awards, said: “The awards are about recognising the breadth and strength of businesses across Test Valley, from independent start-ups to established employers. It’s encouraging to see early support already in place for 2026, and we’re looking forward to welcoming more businesses who want to be part of celebrating what our local economy does well.”
Businesses can enter themselves, and members of the public can also nominate a deserving organisation.
Further information, including how to submit an entry, is available via the awards website.
