Ben Clark, 41, a self-employed carpenter from Andover, has been named locally as the man who died following a fall at a beauty spot in Majorca on Friday Morning (27th June).

According to official statements, Spanish emergency services were called shortly before 2am on Friday morning after reports that a man had fallen around 15ft onto rocks near Cala Agulla beach, a popular tourist location.
Mr Clark’s partner is understood to have also fallen and been briefly knocked unconscious before raising the alarm at a nearby hotel. Spanish police said the incident is believed to have been a tragic accident, and an investigation and autopsy are under way.
Tributes have been shared widely by friends, colleagues, and members of the Andover community. Messages posted online described Mr Clark as “one of the good ones” and “a great guy,” while others spoke of their heartbreak and disbelief. One tribute read:
“His memory will live on through the many peoples’ lives that he lit up. He was a great guy and a true legend.”
Cala Agulla is a large, white sand beach on the island’s north-east coast and is known for its natural beauty and dramatic rocky areas.
Our thoughts are with Ben’s family and friends at this incredibly difficult time.
