Excitement is building as Andover New Street FC prepare to host one of the biggest matches in the club’s recent history this Saturday, 5th April, in the second leg of their FA Vase semi-final against AFC Whyteleafe.
With the first leg ending in a 3–1 defeat away from home, New Street will need a big performance at the DH Property Services Stadium to overturn the two-goal deficit and book their place in the final.
The fixture is already sold out, and gates will open from 12:30pm for this all-ticket event, sponsored by Austin Hawk.
Fans are being urged to play their part in what could be a historic afternoon for the club. The team have impressed throughout the tournament, with highlights including a 1–0 quarter-final win over Heanor Town.
To support the big occasion, a Park & Ride service will run from 12:15pm starting at the Shepherds Spring Lane Car Park, with additional pick-ups at Andover Train Station.
There will also be extra food and drink stands, including an ice cream van, available at the ground on the day. Supporters can purchase printed matchday programmes for £2 (cash only), and take part in the 50/50 raffle for £1.
