Andover’s High Street Just Got Fudging Amazing!

Andover’s town centre has a delicious new addition after Go Fudge yo self, a family-run fudge shop, officially opened in the Chantry Centre today (Saturday 25th October).

The new shop, created and owned by sister duo Laurien and Ashlyn, is located in the unit opposite the rear of the Guildhall. It was officially opened this morning by Councillor Iris Anderson, who cut the ribbon to welcome the local success story to the High Street.

The business marks a rapid expansion from a home-based venture. The idea was born when Ashlyn went on maternity leave in April 2024, and the sisters decided to turn Laurien’s fudge-making hobby into a business. After registering with the council, completing their food safety courses, and receiving a 5-star FSA rating, they launched on social media in May 2024. “Since then,” they said, “it has been an absolute whirlwind!”

Go Fudge yo self will be stocked with the sisters’ signature “delicious Homemade Fudge,” which comes in white, milk, or dark chocolate and caramel bases, all “topped, filled and flavoured with a variety of different products.” It’s not just fudge, either, as the duo promises “lots of other goodies weekly,” with restocks announced on Tuesday evenings. As their slogan proudly states: “We aren’t just your normal Fudge makers – we are fudging amazing!”

Pop into the new Chantry Centre shop to enjoy the products and support Andover’s newest family-run business.
