If your child is currently in year 6 of a primary or junior school, now is the time that you need to apply for a Year 7 place in a secondary school for September 2022. You can name up to three schools on your application.
Year 7 admissions applications are open from now with the national application deadline being the 31 October 2021
I know i was surprised at how soon i had to apply for a space when my eldest was in Year 6.

You can find out which school is your catchment school, here, BUT you can apply for ANY school that you want to, choice the one which suits your child’s needs the best.
Local Andover Secondary School Open days
- John Hanson School , Open day takes place on the 23rd September
- Harrow way School, Open days take place 21st, 23rd, and 24th September
- Winton Community Academy takes place on the 30th September.
- Test Valley School, open days are on the 27th, 28th and 29th September
