Popular award winning salon, Salon 73 is set to open their new premises on the Weyhill Fairground on the 1st March.
Salon 73 who are in their 10th year are on the move and relocating to bigger premises located at the tranquil and relaxing Weyhill Fairground. With an expanding team, new premises were needed after outgrowing their previous location. Owner Vanessa Cleary is taking the step to move her business to offer more services and a more relaxing environment.
Vanessa told us “So excited for this. A lot of hard work has gone into the move and we can’t wait to welcome our clients and new clients. The Weyhill Fairground is a great location set in beautiful surroundings”.
The last month the Salon 73 Facebook page has been teasing the move with snippets of information and photos.
With over 20 years experience working in top salons across the UK, Vanessa Cleary, opened Salon 73 in May 2013 at Basepoint business centre. The salon has gone from strength to strength over the years with the salon a popular place for all the family, with a large customer base the salon expanded taking another unit next door creating a larger premises, with a larger team including beauty therapists and barbers.
The salons quality has been recognised with the salon picking up awards along the way. In 2018 and 2019 the salon won the Muddy Stiletto award for best salon in Hampshire and Isle Of Wight as well as best local business at the 2022 Andover Inspiration Awards.
COVID had a massive impact of many businesses and the beauty sector was hard hit too. Salon 73 made it through with a lot of hard work and now look to to improve on the future. Vanessa added “I am very proud of everyone in here and the staff. It’s been a really hard time these past couple of years with COVID, as it has been for a lot of hair salons, but we pulled through and the business is doing really well. Now we are excited for the move and we wanted to offer a whole new experience for our customers with a new look, branding and shop”.
There will be an official opening on Thursday 2nd March at 9am at the Weyhill Fairground. Vanessa and the team would love to invite you along to join in the opening.
