The Burdock Valley Players are set to enchant audiences once again with their winter pantomime extravaganza, Sleeping Beauty. The much-loved family favourite follows the timeless tale of a princess placed under a wicked fairy’s curse, destined to prick her finger on a spinning wheel and fall into a deep, magical sleep.
Audiences can expect all the classic pantomime charm, complete with good fairies, a spirited court jester and a courageous prince determined to break the spell. With the kingdom united in hope, true love’s first kiss may once again prove to be the key to awakening the slumbering princess.
Fresh from their appearance at the Christmas Lights Switch-On on 21st November, the Burdock Valley Players are ready to delight the community with a lively, heart-warming production suitable for all ages.
