Dom Joly brings Trigger Happy TV anniversary tour to Andover

Comedian Dom Joly is heading to Andover as part of a major UK tour celebrating 25 years of Trigger Happy TV.

The iconic funnyman will be stopping off at The Lights on Tuesday, 20 October 2026, bringing a night of nostalgia, chaos and surprises to local audiences.

It’s been a quarter of a century since Trigger Happy TV first burst onto our screens, turning hidden-camera comedy on its head with surreal characters, bizarre setups and unforgettable moments. Now, Dom is taking those memories live on stage, giving fans the chance to relive some of the show’s most legendary sketches.

Audience members in Andover can expect appearances from much-loved characters including The Giant Snail, The Traffic Warden, The Morris Dancer, The Scout, A Gang of Squirrels – and, of course, that massive mobile phone. Alongside the sketches, Dom will also share behind-the-scenes stories and insights into how the madness was created.

And because this is live theatre, nothing is quite as predictable as it might seem…

Speaking about the tour, Dom said:

“I played a handful of shows in autumn that sold out. We were inundated with requests for more shows – so here they are.”

Tickets go on sale locally at 10am tomorrow (Friday, 30 January 2025).
