Families looking for something fun to do this Easter are in for a treat, as the Army Flying Museum at Middle Wallop unveils a jam-packed holiday programme filled with crafts, creatures, and helicopters!

Following record numbers at February half-term, the museum is going all out this Easter, running activities throughout the school holidays. Highlights include:
- Easter Egg Hunt (Good Friday to Easter Monday) – explore the museum and hunt for hidden eggs!
- Model Making Sessions – back by popular demand on Tuesday 8th and Sunday 13th April
- VR Apache Helicopter Experience – strap on a headset and explore the Apache like never before on Thursday 10th April
- Free daily crafts – running 10am–12:30pm every day
- Special Easter trail – running throughout the holidays
Two standout events are also planned:
- Wednesday 9th April – Join Spaces for Growing and make wild-flower seed bombs to take home
- Thursday 17th April – Meet real-life reptiles, invertebrates, and amphibians courtesy of Crazy Creatures
Keep an eye out for the Golden Egg hidden daily over the Easter weekend – lucky finders will win a family ticket to a local attraction!
All activities (excluding the egg hunt) are included in the general admission ticket, which also comes with a free annual pass – giving visitors unlimited return visits for a whole year.
Lucy Johnson, CEO of the Army Flying Museum, said:
“We were thrilled to see so many new and returning visitors at half term. Our Easter programme is full of hands-on, family-friendly fun – and we’re proud to include most activities in the ticket price, giving families great value for money.”
The free annual pass scheme has been a big hit with Hampshire and Wiltshire residents, especially as the museum continues to grow its offering of family-focused activities.
With high demand expected, the museum recommends booking in advance to avoid disappointment. Plan your visit and book tickets now at www.armyflying.com.
