Thruxton Circuit will roar to life from 20-22 June 2025 with a jam-packed programme of historic motorsport as part of its new retro-themed summer celebration. Thruxton Retro promises not only live music and entertainment, but a full weekend of classic and historic racing to thrill automotive enthusiasts of all ages.

Across Saturday and Sunday, racing fans will witness an impressive variety of vehicles from the 1950s to the early 2000s in action. Open paddocks will give visitors the chance to get up close to these iconic machines, while the grandstands and trackside banking offer a prime view of the adrenaline-fuelled action.
The event’s Blue Riband feature is the Jochen Rindt Trophy, showcasing single-seater race cars from the 60s, 70s, and 80s. A standout highlight will be the demonstration runs of historic Formula 1 cars, complete with their period liveries and unforgettable engine sounds – sure to stir up memories for motorsport fans.
But the action doesn’t stop on the track. Visitors can enjoy:
- Displays from over 30 different car clubs
- A special showcase of 150+ classic motorcycles
- A classic car and bike auction, with viewing throughout the weekend
There’s also a nod to Thruxton’s aviation roots with aircraft displays from the Historic Army Aircraft Flight and flybys from Navy Wings. For those wanting to take to the skies themselves, pleasure flights in helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft will also be available (at extra cost).
With free parking, great food and drink options, and camping available on-site, Thruxton Retro is shaping up to be a must-visit summer festival of all things fast, loud and legendary.
