The police have put out an appeal for dash cam footage and witnesses following a fatal collision at the southbound Fleet services off the M3, which resulted in the death of a man in his 80s and serious injuries to a woman in her 70s.
Police were called at 12.44pm yesterday (16 April) to a report of a blue Ford Explorer colliding with three parked cars and two pedestrians in the southbound services.
The man was pronounced deceased at the scene. His family have been notified.
The lead investigator DS Gary Doughty, from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “We are now appealing for any witnesses not already seen by police at the scene and anyone with relevant dash cam footage to contact us.”
