Andover New Street Ladies enjoyed a superb afternoon in the Women’s FA Cup with a convincing 5–0 victory away at Pagham Women. The result capped off the perfect birthday celebration for Violet, who marked the occasion in style with a brace.

Violet opened the scoring and went on to add a second, showing sharp footwork and constant attacking threat. Kyla also helped herself to two goals, using her pace and high energy to stretch the Pagham defence, while Summer’s tireless work rate was rewarded with a well-deserved strike to complete the scoring.
Speaking after the match, manager Kyla Tobin praised the performance but called for further ruthlessness in front of goal:
“Another solid team performance from the ladies today, dominated and had control of the game throughout. Similar to last week we still need to be converting more of our chances in front of goal, but the opportunities being created are there. Violet took both of her goals well, showing quick feet and looking dangerous throughout. Summer deserved her goal purely down to her work rate — she’s an engine for the team and a great role model of attitude.”
Goalkeeper Emily Evans was named Player of the Match for her assured display, producing several excellent saves to maintain the clean sheet. At just 16 years old, her composure and maturity drew special praise from the manager:
“In some games keepers really don’t get the credit they deserve. Emily kept focused for the full 90 and pulled off a couple of superb saves to keep our clean sheet. Playing well above her years — you would never believe she hasn’t long turned 16!”
The emphatic win ensures Street Ladies’ place in the next round of the FA Cup, with spirits high and momentum firmly on their side.
