This weekend sees a new and exciting gin and ale festival in Andover.
The free event is hosted at the Gin Palace and Andover Tap this Sunday the 3rd July from 12pm. Enjoy a day out enjoying some of the best local gins and ales in the area.
Wessex Spirits Gins will have and gin cocktails in the downstairs Gin Palace bar with another bar upstairs serving other gins that you can’t find in the shops.
Loads of local beers and ales and some from further afield and ciders in The Andover Tap and the whole building open for you to explore.
Kate Griffin of Wessex Spirits told us “Tim and I are always super excited to open the doors to The Gin Palace and The Andover Tap at the Lamb for events and we’d love to welcome everyone to our Gin and Ale Festival on Sunday from 3pm.
“Bring your friends and come and enjoy locally crafted beers, ales and ciders, Wessex Spirits gins – all handcrafted on site, gin cocktails and guest gins too in an upstairs bar. The pub, the Gin Palace and upstairs tasting rooms will all be open for this event so come and join us “.
The event is free but you can buy a ticket before which will include a beautiful glass for you to take home and your first half pint or single G&T is free.
The entire building will be open for you to enjoy your gin or beer, so you can hang out in the Andover Tap, venture through to the Gin Palace and upstairs tasting rooms, or try a different drink in each area. Tim will have lots of lovely local beers and ales for you to try and Kate will be on hand with all her own gins plus some others for you to try in the upstairs bar as well. Bottles of gin will be available to purchase on the day.
