Discover new ideas and activities to promote a healthy mind and body at Andover’s Wellbeing Fair on Saturday 11 November, 9am to 12pm.
Following the success of our first Wellbeing Festival in June, the Andover Wellbeing Fair will provide a space for selected local organisations to come together and share details of the services that they can offer Andover residents during the colder months. The organisations involved will be representing the ‘five ways to wellbeing’; encouraging everyone to connect, get active, take notice of how they’re feeling, learn something new and offer help to others.
From exercising indoors, to embracing walks in the crisp cold air, there will be lots of ideas to support wellness throughout winter.
The fair will take place inside the Chantry Centre, near to Holland & Barret and Tui, with stalls offering information and guidance about physical and mental wellbeing. Visitors can look forward to meeting representatives from:
- Andover Mind
- iCan Therapy
- Places Leisure
- Unity
- Environment Centre
- TVBC Health Walks
- HCC Live Longer Better
The Andover Health Hub will also be open during the morning, to offer support to visitors. The hub is located opposite the indoor garden area near to Boswell’s Café.
Andover St Mary’s ward councillor, Iris Andersen, who was involved with the creation of this event said: “The Wellbeing Festival was such a great success, that we felt it was important to follow this with the winter Wellbeing Fair.
“This event will provide an excellent opportunity for people of all ages to come along and find out more about how to keep fit and well during the colder season.”
The fair will take place in the Chantry Centre on Saturday 11 November, 9am to 12pm.
