Go Coffee: New Local Business Brews Up in Andover

An Andover entrepreneur is bringing a fresh caffeine kick to the town with the launch of her new artisan coffee business, Go Coffee.

At just 23, Carla Greasley-Machin has transformed a converted horsebox into a cosy mobile café, serving up expertly crafted hot drinks, indulgent sweet treats, and a selection of hot and cold snacks from her base on East Portway.

A lifelong Andover resident, Carla’s passion for coffee and her dream of working for herself inspired her to take the leap and start her own business.

“Launching Go Coffee has been more than a year in the making, so I’m over the moon to finally be trading in my hometown,” she said. “For me, coffee is about more than just the drink – it’s about connection. It brings people together, and that’s exactly what I hope to create with my business.”

A former Harrow Way pupil, Carla has previously worked in retail and as a delivery driver, but always knew she wanted to be her own boss.

“I’ve always wanted to work on my own terms,” she explained. “Combining that independence with my love of coffee felt like the perfect fit. Seeing my vision come to life has been incredible – even with the challenges of starting a business on my own in today’s climate.”

Dedicated to quality and community, Carla prides herself on sourcing ingredients from local suppliers and keeping her prices affordable. Her menu features all the classic coffee shop favourites, alongside a few creative twists and seasonal specials designed to surprise and delight customers.

Go Coffee trades on East Portway, opposite Stannah, every Tuesday and Wednesday from 8am to 4pm — offering Andover locals the perfect pit stop for great coffee and good vibes.
