Hayat Turkish Restaurant on Bridge Street, Andover, has closed its doors with a printed notice on the front door of the restaurant reads simply:
“Sorry for the inconvenience. Hayat Restaurant is now closed.”
The independent restaurant, known for serving traditional Turkish dishes including kebabs, meze and grilled specials, opened in 2023 and quickly became a popular dining spot in the town centre.
The closure notice appeared in the window this week, with no further information provided about the reason for the shutdown or whether the business plans to reopen in the future.
Hayat’s closure leaves another vacant unit on Bridge Street, following a series of changes to the town’s hospitality and retail scene in recent months.
