Jiggaz Grill, a beloved part of Andover’s culinary landscape, has announced it will be closing its Andover location this summer.
The news, shared in a heartfelt message on their Facebook page, has been met with sadness by loyal customers and the wider community who have grown fond of the popular eatery.

The owners described the decision as “bitter-sweet”, explaining that despite their best efforts, they have struggled for some time to recruit enough staff to operate effectively. With a small team working tirelessly to keep things going, they have now reached a point where they must step back and reassess.
“We have carried on for as long as we could,” they wrote. “The few staff we have have given everything, but now they are tired.”
As a result, the Andover branch will begin operating on reduced hours until it closes for good later this year.
Jiggaz Grill expressed immense pride in what they’ve achieved during their time in Andover. From glowing reviews across all platforms to the friendships made through service, the team say they leave with heads held high and hearts full of gratitude. The announcement also highlighted their pride in having served in such a “historic and significant town.”
In their message, the team extended sincere thanks to customers for their encouragement, feedback, love, and ongoing support – all of which they credit for helping the brand grow and improve.
While their Andover chapter comes to a close, Jiggaz Grill is inviting fans to continue enjoying their food at their Tidworth location, which remains open. “If you fancy a Jiggaz treat and a drive, please join us in Tidworth – we again would be happy to serve. Plus, it’s a great drive, amazing scenery; perfect little road trip for a family, couple, or by yourself.”
Andover will no doubt miss the flavours, energy, and spirit that Jiggaz Grill brought to the town. For now, there’s still a little time left to stop by, say thank you, and enjoy one last bite.
