Member of youth Parliament, Dmitrijs Meiksans, has won big as he scoops up the Future Talent of the Year award
The Peter Symonds College student beat a variety of strong young finalists in securing the award, with the sponsor making an emphasis on Dmitrijs’ “age defying all barriers”.
Commenting on the award, Dmitrijs said, “I am in genuine shock, I have loved being able to support a variety of businesses with social media management, graphic design and event-planning for the last 3-4 years, and to be recognised for it, is something beyond extraordinary. Thank you to everyone who has supported me on this surreal journey – onwards and upwards from here!”
The awards ceremony, which took place at Hilton at the Ageas, was hosted by star of ITV’s hit show The Chase, Paul Sinha and recognised the outstanding achievements of the South of England’s business community, including Dmitrijs.
