A 68-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving after police were called to Roman Way in Andover earlier this afternoon (Thursday 24 July).
Officers attended the scene at around 3.26 pm following reports of a suspected drunk driver behind the wheel of a BMW.
The driver was breathalysed at the roadside and subsequently arrested. He remains in custody while enquiries continue.
Hampshire Police have not yet released further details.
