Moments that Matter art competition marks 35 Years of hospice care

The Countess of Brecknock Hospice (COBH) is excited to announce the launch of their Moments that Matter Art Competition as part of its 35th Anniversary celebrations.

This new initiative invites local artists and local residents to create artwork inspired by the special and meaningful moments that define our lives.

“This competition is a wonderful way to celebrate the hospice’s 35 years of providing outstanding palliative and end of life care and making moments that matter for those with terminal illness and their loved ones,” said Michele Gard, Charity Director. “Through art, we can connect with those precious moments that truly matter. I’m looking forward to seeing the creativity and heartfelt expressions of our local community.”

Well-known local gallery owner and guest judge, Nadia Waterfield, shared her enthusiasm for the initiative: “It’s an honour to be part of this meaningful celebration. Art has the unique ability to capture emotions and tell stories, and I’m excited to witness the talent and inspiration from local artists of all ages.”
