New Grant to Help Andover Businesses Improve Shop Fronts

Test Valley Borough Council (TVBC), in partnership with Andover Town Council and the Andover Business Improvement District (BID), has launched a new grant scheme to help improve the appearance of shops in Andover town centre.

The Andover Town Centre Frontage Grant offers financial support to landlords and business owners who want to enhance their shop fronts. This includes improvements like new signs, better lighting, and small repairs that make buildings look more attractive. The aim is to make the town centre more welcoming for both residents and visitors.

The grant is part of a wider effort to regenerate Andover and is funded by the UK Government through the Shared Prosperity Fund.

To be eligible, businesses must be located in specific streets within the town centre, such as the High Street, Bridge Street, London Street, and others. Applicants must also be trading at the time of application, have a business rates account with TVBC, and meet other criteria.
