The repairs are expected to take around three weeks, with completion due by 21 July.

During the works, customers will not be able to access the level 5a lobby from the main stairwell and lifts.

Test Valley Borough Council says the work has been planned to minimise disruption where possible.

Councillor Phil North, Leader of Test Valley Borough Council, said:

“We want to keep our car parks safe, clean and welcoming for everyone who uses them, as this helps to encourage people into the town centre and boosts the local economy.

“We apologise for the disruption and would like to thank people for their patience while we undertake the repairs.”

The council says it will keep residents updated throughout the programme.
