The project represents the largest single development ever delivered at Walworth Business Park, further strengthening Andover’s position as a growing logistics and industrial hub in southern England.

Four new logistics and industrial units

The scheme will deliver four new state-of-the-art logistics and industrial buildings, with a total area of approximately 452,000 sq ft. The units will range in size from 31,695 sq ft to 219,185 sq ft, offering flexible, high-quality accommodation designed to attract a variety of occupiers.

The development will feature:

  • Unit 1: 31,695 sq ft
  • Unit 2: 63,005 sq ft
  • Unit 3: 138,540 sq ft
  • Unit 4: 219,185 sq ft

The new logistics park will be built to the latest environmental standards, targeting BREEAM “Excellent” and EPC A ratings. Sustainability measures include the installation of solar panels, EV charging stations, cycle routes, and significant biodiversity improvements across the site.

Supporting local growth and job creation

The £multi-million development is expected to create new local jobs, drive economic growth, and provide modern, flexible industrial space for new and expanding businesses. The site’s strategic position – with excellent connectivity to the A303, M3, A34, London, Southampton, and the Midlands — makes it an ideal location for logistics, manufacturing, and distribution companies.

Collaboration between public and private sectors

Kier Property, the development arm of Kier Group, is leading the project in partnership with Test Valley Borough Council, which owns Walworth Business Park. The partnership continues the Council’s long-term strategy to regenerate the area and attract inward investment to Andover.

Construction is expected to commence in the coming months, with JLL and LSH (Lambert Smith Hampton) appointed as joint letting agents.

The planning consent, granted in October 2025, follows the success of previous developments at Walworth and underlines the Council’s commitment to delivering sustainable growth and high-quality employment opportunities in the borough.
