Police Make Arrests Following Assault Report in Andover

Hampshire Police have confirmed they were called at 5.39pm on Saturday 12 April following reports of a 13-year-old boy being assaulted on Galahad Close in Andover.

A 38-year-old man from Andover was initially arrested on suspicion of assault, possession of a knife, and obstructing arrest. Following a review of all the evidence provided to officers, including CCTV footage, he was released with no further action.

As part of their ongoing enquiries, police arrested two further individuals on Sunday 13 April.

A 63-year-old man and a 35-year-old man, both from Andover, were arrested on suspicion of assault and possession of an offensive weapon. The 35-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of criminal damage. Both individuals have been released on police bail.

Investigations are ongoing.
