Pride of Andover Announces Major Move to Thruxton Circuit for 2026 Awards

Pride of Andover has confirmed a landmark change for 2026, with the town’s much-loved awards ceremony set to move from its long-standing home at The Lights Theatre to the iconic Thruxton Circuit.

For many years, the awards have been held at The Lights, becoming a staple in the town’s events calendar and a highlight for individuals, businesses and organisations recognised for their contribution to the community. Now, organisers say the move marks an exciting new chapter aimed at elevating the experience and expanding the event’s reach.

The 2026 Main Awards Evening will take place on Saturday 14th November, from 6:00pm until 1:00am, with an optional after-party offering extended networking in a relaxed and celebratory setting.

Organisers say the switch to Thruxton Circuit — one of Hampshire’s most recognisable venues — reflects the continued growth of the awards in both profile and professionalism. With increased capacity, a high-profile backdrop and strong media presence expected, the new venue is set to provide greater visibility for nominees, guests and sponsors alike.

Pride of Andover continues to celebrate those who make a genuine difference across the town, shining a spotlight on quiet achievers, inspirational figures and businesses that go above and beyond. Each year the event has grown in stature, and 2026 is being positioned as the biggest yet.

Key Dates for 2026

  • Launch Event – Saturday 13th June, 10:30am–12:30pm at The Gin Palace
  • Judging Day – Saturday 12th September, 10:00am–4:00pm at Purple Oak
  • Main Awards Evening – Saturday 14th November at Thruxton Circuit

Nominations for 2026 open on 13th June, with organisers encouraging residents to start thinking now about who deserves recognition. The call is out for those who quietly make a difference, exceed expectations or consistently support the community behind the scenes.

Sponsorship opportunities remain available, with one category — the Inspiration Award — still open. Historically one of the most popular categories in terms of nominations, it offers businesses a prominent platform to demonstrate their commitment to championing local excellence.

Organisers say sponsorship is about far more than branding. It represents a visible investment in the future of Andover and a public endorsement of the individuals and organisations that help the town thrive.

With a new venue, expanded opportunities and nominations opening this summer, Pride of Andover 2026 is shaping up to be a year to remember — and a bold new era for one of the town’s most cherished celebrations.
