Shift Social, a growing community of car enthusiasts with a passion for both motors and making a difference, has launched into the new year in style following a hugely successful first event of 2026.

Held last weekend, the group’s first morning meet of the year drew an impressive turnout, with supporters gathering to share their love of cars while raising vital funds for charity. The event generated more than £500 for Naomi House & Jacksplace, providing a strong start to the group’s fundraising efforts for the year ahead.
Organisers expressed their gratitude to everyone who attended and contributed, helping to create a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. The popularity of the event did, however, lead to some parking challenges at the venue, with apologies extended to those who were unable to find a space at the pub.
Shift Social, which hosts monthly meets, has built a reputation for combining a shared enthusiasm for cars with meaningful charitable giving. Each gathering offers a chance for like-minded individuals to connect, showcase their vehicles, and support good causes.
Looking ahead, the group has already announced its next morning meet, set to take place on 19th April at The Lion. With numbers expected to be limited following the strong turnout at the latest event, attendees are being encouraged to register early to secure their place.
With momentum building and community support continuing to grow, Shift Social is proving that a love of cars can drive real change — one meet at a time.
