Local car enthusiast group, Shift Social, hosted a successful morning meet at The Lion in Clanville this weekend, raising a fantastic £300 for Naomi House & Jacksplace, a local children’s hospice.
Naomi House, which first opened its doors in 1997, provides vital care and support to children across Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire, Berkshire, Isle of Wight, West Sussex, Surrey and beyond, who are not expected to live until adulthood.
Since its opening, Naomi House nursing and medical staff have cared for over 1,000 children and families, offering individualised care that helps to enhance short lives and allows families to make the most of their precious time together.
The Shift Social car meet provided a great opportunity for car lovers to showcase their vehicles and enjoy a friendly atmosphere, all while raising money for this worthy cause. Shift Social extends their gratitude to everyone who attended and contributed to this success.
A raffle held during the meet saw one lucky attendee win a prize of wheel refurbishment courtesy of Hampshire Custom Alloys Limited.
Shift Social looks forward to welcoming everyone back for their next morning meet on July 21st. Get your engines running and be sure to “Get Shifting!”
