Families in Andover are in for a fun-filled adventure this February half-term with the launch of the Andover Time Traveller’s Trail, an exciting, free activity designed to bring local history to life!
Organised by InAndover from Andover BID, this unique trail takes participants on a journey through time, uncovering fascinating facts, local legends, and hidden stories about Andover’s past. From Viking connections to famous rock bands, from mysterious town jail stories to the detective genius of Agatha Christie, there’s something to intrigue history lovers of all ages.

How It Works
Families can pick up a free trail booklet from The Lights, Andover Leisure Centre, Odeon Cinema, Andover Library and a few cafes in town, or download it online at www.inandover.co.uk/events/time-travellers/. The trail will guide participants to key locations around Andover town centre, where they will need to solve clues and complete tasks to uncover a secret word.
To check their answers, children can visit local businesses displaying the trail’s answer sheets, making this a great opportunity to explore the town centre while learning something new.
