Andover New Street FC has confirmed that First Team Manager Jamie Coleman will remain at the club for the upcoming season, providing a major boost as preparations begin for another campaign at the DH Property Services Stadium.

Coleman, who has overseen one of the most successful periods in the club’s recent history, said the decision to stay was a straightforward one.
Reflecting on his commitment to the club, Coleman said he believes there is still more to achieve both on and off the pitch.
He said: “It wasn’t a difficult decision in the end. I still believe there’s more for us to achieve as a group and as a football club. We’ve worked hard over the last few seasons to build something that everyone can be proud of, and I feel there’s unfinished business.”
Coleman also paid tribute to the people behind the scenes who have helped drive the club forward.
“The players, the committee, the volunteers and the supporters all play a huge part in making this a special club, and I wanted to continue being part of that journey,” he added.
During his time in charge, Coleman has guided the club through a number of memorable moments, including impressive FA Cup performances, a remarkable run to the semi-finals of the FA Vase, and two play-off campaigns as New Street pushed for promotion to Step 4 football.
Speaking about those achievements, Coleman described the highs of football management as something that continually motivates him.
“I talk about moments a lot and we’ve had a lot of moments in the last couple of years. FA Cup, the FA Vase run to the semis, making playoffs twice and knocking on the door of Step 4 football – all these moments are like a drug and just keep pulling you back in,” he said.
The announcement will be welcomed by supporters, players and volunteers alike, with the club expressing its delight that Coleman will continue to lead the team into the new season.
Everyone at Andover New Street FC has wished Coleman well for the upcoming campaign and is looking forward to what promises to be another exciting season at the DH Property Services Stadium.
