There are volunteer days… and then there are volunteer days that come with goat cuddles.

The The Three Bees Project is inviting members of the community to take part in a special Volunteer Day on Saturday 28th February from 9am to 3pm.
This is an opportunity for people of all ages and backgrounds to come together, lend a hand and experience first-hand the unique work the project is doing to support physical, mental and environmental regeneration.
Creating Space for Regeneration
The Three Bees Project is built on a simple but powerful ethos: creating a space where people and the environment can thrive together. Their work focuses on:
- Educating young people
- Supporting adults with wellbeing initiatives
- Protecting and enhancing the local environment
- Using animal-assisted engagement to bring comfort and connection
Central to their work is their much-loved herd of therapy goats.
Introducing the Therapy Goats
The project’s special herd of therapy goats regularly visits schools, care homes, community events, businesses and even weddings, offering moments of calm, joy and connection. In an increasingly busy and pressured world, these visits provide a welcome pause and a reminder of the positive impact animals can have on wellbeing.
Volunteers attending the day will have the chance to meet the goats and experience the calming atmosphere that defines the project’s work.

What to Expect on the Day
The Volunteer Day will run from 9am until 3pm. Participants are asked to bring their own lunch, while tea and coffee will be provided.
Those who attend can expect a friendly, welcoming environment and practical tasks that contribute directly to the ongoing development of the project’s space and facilities. No prior experience is necessary – just a willingness to get involved and appropriate outdoor clothing.
How to Get Involved
Anyone interested in attending is encouraged to send a WhatsApp message to 07787 201108 to be added to the volunteer information group. Directions and further instructions will be shared directly with those who register their interest.
The team is keen to spread the word and is encouraging supporters to share the invitation widely to help reach as many potential volunteers as possible.
For those looking to make a difference in their community while spending time outdoors in a purposeful and uplifting setting, 28th February offers the perfect opportunity.
